The association announced Tuesday it will absorb the Technology Solution Provider Information Sharing and Analysis Organization. The group was founded by business automation software company ConnectWise to unite technology vendors, solution providers, researchers and organizations to create a more secure infrastructure within the technology solution provider industry.
TSP-ISAO currently has roughly 650 technology companies as members. ConnectWise will remain a founding member of TSP-ISAO.
"With the ongoing support of the ConnectWise team and the organizations that are already supporting this effort we intend to build on these early successes," CompTIA CEO Todd Thibodeaux said in a statement.
Terms of the deal were not announced.
